Chris is an experienced board member having served on public, private and non-profit boards. She has chaired board audit and governance committees of plus several ad hoc committees. As a private investor focused primarily on women owned and led businesses, Chris also plays an advisory role in several start-up situations.
From both her prior executive roles and current consultancy, her work portfolio spans North America, Asia and Europe across an array of industries including healthcare, technology, manufacturing, professional and financial services as well as non-profit organizations. Through her work and board experiences Chris has developed a unique perspective on how leaders drive material and positive outcomes in today’s global marketplace. She shares this perspective in a recently published book, BOLD: Essential Leadership for Transformative Change.
Chris holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota; A Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Hamline University; a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin, Superior; and she has completed the Northwestern University NMC Advanced Executive Program.
