Susan Eick

As a senior business strategy and marketing executive with more than 25 years of experience, Susan has learned how to make positive, sustainable changes that bring profit to an organization, and get organizations “un-stuck” from their current state.

With a background in financial services and consulting, some of Susan’s strategic initiatives include business strategy building, leader development, product innovation, change integration, and bringing visibility to the service-profit chain in organizations.

Susan has led several large organizational teams in publicly-traded companies including JP Morgan Chase, Vectra Bank Colorado and Deluxe Corporation. She has also run her own business, and mentored entrepreneurs through early stage ventures. She is an accomplished public speaker on the topics of women in leadership, innovation and agile work environments.

As a consultant, Susan has worked on diverse, large-scale strategic initiatives including board alignment, corporate strategic planning, strategic marketing planning, and developing the people strategy behind mergers and acquisitions.

Susan is the CEO of Refinery in Vancouver, BC. Refinery creates competitive advantage for organizations by aligning people to business strategy, unifying culture, and creating the conditions for people to develop and grow every day.

Born in the United States, Susan now resides in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia with her husband and two daughters. Susan has a Master of Business Administration from Capella University.
