Jane is versatile business leader with extensive experience is Banking, Insurance, and Software Technology industries, mergers/acquisitions, and divestitures, combined with her keen capabilities in technology strategy development, business alignment and governance, as well as, deep working knowledge of systems security, including policy development, risk management strategies, governance and compliance.
Jane has served as a trusted business advisor and partner to the CEOs and business leaders she has worked with, and has been a very effective as CIO, in 3 highly complex Fortune 100 companies (in three different industries) including Microsoft, Prudential Financial and Chase Manhattan Bank.
Jane recently retired from Web.com, where she was the Senior Vice President and CTO. At Web.com she oversaw all of the company’s technology. Her resources were distributed globally with more than 50% in overseas locations. She established both a captive offshore development (120FTE) team and outsourced (110FTE) offshore development team. During her ten year at web.com she led the technology due diligence, integration and technology restructuring, on 8 company acquisitions that grew the company from $80MM to $760MM, attaining more than $60MM in technology synergies during her ten year with the company.
Prior to joining web.com, Jane was the Deputy Commissioner and CIO for the NYC Department of Finance. She reported to Commissioner of Finance and was a key member of Agency Leadership team. As CIO she managed all the technology and systems required to support the 20 Divisions that make up the Agency, as well as, the city wide payments processing shared service.
Prior to NYC she held several leadership positions Microsoft Corp, starting out in developing the Enterprise Strategy for Financial Services, within nine months Jane was promoted to General Manager Global .net Market Development, and asked to act as the Executive Sponsor of both China and Japan. Later at Microsoft Jane took on the CIO position for Worldwide Public Sector a six billion dollar division of Microsoft.
Earlier in her career she held several senior level positions in financial services: At Prudential Financial, Jane was the CIO of Prudential Institutional; at The Bankers Trust Company, She was the Managing Director of Global Corporate Systems; and at Chase Manhattan Bank, as VP Systems Engineering for credit card business intelligence and business operations systems.
Jane has extensive board and leadership experience including member of Board Directors Assessment Technology Group, Board Directors STEM2Hub, Advisory Board member Jacksonville Year Up, Executive Advisory Board Grove Capital, Board Member Mental Health Association of Essex County, Member Woman’s Economic Roundtable, and chaired Women on Wall Street Technology Segment, for several years.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University New York at Fredonia. She and her husband reside in Jacksonville, FL.
