Linda Addison is an experienced independent director and chief executive. She serves on the Board of Directors and Chairs the Compensation Committees of Globe Life Inc. (NYSE: GL), an S&P 500 company, and Good Works II Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: GWII), a special purpose acquisition company (“SPAC”), where she also serves on the Audit and Nominating/Governance Committees. Linda also is an independent director of KPMG LLP, the Big 4 US audit, tax and advisory firm, a privately-owned partnership with annual revenues that would rank in the Fortune 300 if publicly listed. She previously served on the Advisory Board of Northern Trust.

Until 2017, Linda was US Managing Partner (CEO equivalent), Chair of the US Management Committee, and global board member of Norton Rose Fulbright, one of the world’s largest law firms. She had P/L responsibility for the US region and was responsible for US strategy and driving growth. She was one of five regional CEOs formulating and implementing global strategy and running the global business.

Financial Times publication Agenda named Linda to the Compensation 100: Top Board Candidates With Pay-Setting Skills, based on her extensive experience in compensation strategy and related talent management, acquisition, deployment, and retention.

Linda earned the Climate Leadership Certificate from Diligent, the CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from Carnegie Mellon, and is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow.

Crain's New York Business named her one of the "50 Most Powerful Women in New York." The National Law Journal named her one the "100 Most Influential Lawyers in America."

Linda is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Board of Visitors of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. A Catalyst board member, she has long worked to advance women in the workplace, in business leadership, and on corporate boards.

Linda is a first-generation American whose parents immigrated to America from Poland in 1946. She understands Polish, which was spoken at home. She met her husband Max in law school, and they have an adult daughter. Linda is an avid reader who likes to travel and is interested in health and fitness. She has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
