Program Description

The WCD Global Institute is a 2 1/2 day program offered to women corporate directors from around the world.  The program will include discussions on board governance such as trends for nominating and compensation committees, private and family company governance, board oversight of corporate culture, and technology that is disrupting and enhancing business today.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe technology that is enhancing and disrupting business today, including blockchain, cyber security, and AI.
  • Identify the latest trends for Compensation Committees
  • Identify the latest issues facing Nomination and Governance Committees, including legislated quotas, director on-boarding and recruitment.
  • Understand the role of the board in oversight of strategy, risk and corporate culture

Program Specifications

Estimated CPE credits: You may qualify for up to 12 CPE credits for the Global Institute.

Refund/cancellation policy: Full refund of fees allowed if cancellation occurs prior to April 28.

Target audience: C-level executives and board members

Advanced preparation & prerequisites: There are no prerequisite or advanced preparation requirements for this course.
