A former senior Community Health Systems executive has resigned from the board of Quorum Health Corp., the company CHS spun out two years ago.
Bill Hussey submitted his resignation Thursday, a month after former chairman Bill Gracey stepped down from his position. In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company said Hussey's departure was not due to any disagreements over policies or operations. Hussey, 69, retired from CHS in 2015 after a 14-year career that ended with him as a division president overseeing 37 hospitals in three states.
