The fiduciary board of the WomenCorporateDirectors Foundation, which includes Lead Director, Camille Asaro, and Directors Karen Mitchell Curran, Lisa Daniels, Deborah Ellinger, Kalpana Ramakrishnan, Mary Beth Vitale, and Jennifer Reynolds, CEO, directs and oversees the management of the business and affairs of the Foundation in a manner consistent with the best interests of the Foundation and its stakeholders. The board also develops the global strategy for the organization and selects and oversees the members of senior management.

WCD’s board members, who have experience in a variety of functional areas such as strategy, finance, IT, marketing and governance, serve as ambassadors and work together to act as a sounding board to provide insights on a variety of matters.

Karen Mitchell Curran

Karen Mitchell Curran is the managing partner of the Fort Lauderdale office of KPMG LLP, a professional firm providing Audit, Tax, and Advisory services.

Karen has devoted virtually all of her time to serving health care and government-related entities during her 33 years providing management advisory and audit services at KPMG, and is currently responsible for the service of a multi-billion dollar entity.

Karen founded and is the current chairperson of the South Florida chapter of KPMG’s Network of Women (KNOW), a multicultural women's network which encourages involvement inside and outside of KPMG and provides support for the betterment of all. Karen has served as a co-chair of the South Florida Chapter of the WomenCorporateDirectors Foundation.

Lisa Daniels

Lisa serves as the Vice Chair of Growth and Strategy at KPMG LLP. In this role, she is responsible for leading KPMG's Total Firm growth strategy, anticipating and responding to signals of change in the marketplace and aligning the firm's investments in innovative new services and capabilities.

Prior to this role, Lisa served as the global lead partner for one of KPMG’s largest technology accounts. She also served as the office managing partner for KPMG’s San Francisco major market, where she oversaw KPMG’s Bay Area and Northwest markets. Other previous roles include managing partner of KPMG’s Silicon Valley and Phoenix offices and partner-in-charge of KPMG’s Midwest Internal Audit and Risk Compliance practice.

Under Lisa’s leadership, KPMG was recognized as one of the 100 Best Companies in Arizona, a Top 25 Workplace for Women, and Best Places to work in the Bay Area.

Lisa also serves as Co-chair of the Bay Area Chapter of the WomenCorporateDirectors Foundation.

Deborah Ellinger

Deborah Ellinger is a former CEO with extensive global board experience, who is focused on the intersection of consumer products and services, technology, and digitization. She is a frequent speaker on private equity investment, activist investor engagement, board governance, and women’s leadership. Deborah was recognized by the National Association of Corporate Directors for her governance work in 2018 and was honored as a Top 100 Director in 2019.

Deborah has 15 years of public and private board experience, and is a director of iRobot, maker of the Roomba vacuum cleaner, and Covetrus, a $4Bn tech-enabled veterinarian services and supply company. She is also a Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group. Deborah spent 14 years running private-equity backed companies on behalf of L. Catterton and Charlesbank Capital, including: Ideal Image, The Princeton Review, Restoration Hardware, and Wellness Pet Food. Her early career was in banking and strategy consulting.

Jackie Daylor

During her more than 30-year career at KPMG, Jackie has served as Lead Audit Engagement Partner, SEC Reviewing Partner, or Account Executive for a variety of large global clients, both public and private. She has also served on both the KPMG LLP and KPMG Americas Ltd. Boards of Directors..

From April 2017 through September of 2020, Jackie was the National Managing Partner – Audit Quality and Professional Practice and Americas Audit Quality and Professional Practice Leader, responsible for the strategic oversight of audit quality control and technical accounting and auditing leadership of the audit practice for both KPMG LLP and KPMG Americas Ltd. Jackie led a significant transformation of the national office and audit quality actions at the firm during her tenure.

Kalpana Ramakrishnan

Kalpana leads KPMG’s US Financial Services Advisory line of business and serves as the Global Lead Partner on one of our largest asset management clients. Kalpana served on the KPMG US and KPMG Americas Board from October 2017 to October 2021.

Kalpana Ramakrishnanhas over 25 years of broad base advisory experience in aligning information technology strategy with business strategy, and has assisted several large clients in the areas of large digital, technology and business transformations.

Mary Beth Vitale

Mary Beth Vitale is a CEO with 25+ years of P&L experience and proven strategic, IT/cyber, marketing, and execution capabilities in building companies.

Mary Beth currently serves as the independent chair of the board of Pareteum, Inc, a leader in providing a global cloud-based software platform connecting any device, anywhere, anytime; board member for Luna Innovations, Inc., a leader in optical technology; and GEHA, Inc., an association providing insurance products to Federal employees, retirees and their families, where she is Chair of Risk and Technology.

She is the Co-founder and Principal of Pellera, LLC. This consulting firm focuses on delivering education to boards of directors on board governance, cyber security oversight and CEO coaching.

Jennifer Reynolds

Jennifer Reynolds is chief executive officer of the WomenCorporateDirectors Foundation (WCD).

Prior to joining WCD, Jennifer was President & CEO of Toronto Finance International (TFI), a public-private partnership whose mission is to promote and develop Toronto’s financial services sector, and to establish its prominence as a leading global financial center.

Jennifer’s 20-year career in the financial services industry has included senior roles in investment banking, venture capital, and global risk management. Prior to joining TFI, Jennifer was the President & CEO of Women in Capital Markets (WCM), Canada’s largest industry association and advocacy group for women in the financial sector.
