You are invited to WCD Amsterdam Chapter Event

Dear WCD members,

WCD would like to invite you for an inspiring breakfast session 4 July 2019 at Baker McKenzie, Amsterdam. We feel very honoured to announce that Mirjam A. de Blécourt will be our host and guest speaker.

Mirjam A. de Blécourt is ranked by top legal directories as one of the leading labour and employment lawyers in the Netherlands, and is ranked as European Best Female Lawyer. She leads Baker McKenzie’s Amsterdam Employment and Pensions Law practice group and is a member of the Firm's European Employment Group Steering Committee. Until July 2013 and for seven years in total, Mirjam was a member of Baker McKenzie Amsterdam’s board.

Mirjam is admitted as a lawyer focusing on labour and employment law. She is the name giver and founder of a collective redundancy system called the ‘De Blécourt Method.’

Furthermore, Mirjam has always been very active in the Diversity & Inclusion sphere, both outside and inside the Firm. She contributed to the Dutch law setting the target figure for a balanced distribution of seats between men and women on boards of directors and supervisory boards of companies. Recently, she wrote a biography ‘Vrijgevochten’, a personal story of how Mirjam became a successful international law firm partner while starting a family and being a mother of two sons.
