We are very excited and honored to have Reatha Clark King, Ph.D., as our featured speaker for our October 7 MN Chapter meeting! Reatha will be sharing her perspectives and lessons learned over the years on what it takes to be successful in the board room. Reatha’s amazing career started as a chemist, whose research was important to the NASA space program in the 1960s. From 1988-2002, she was vice president of General Mills Corporation, and president and executive director of the General Mills foundation; and in 2002, was elected as chairman of the board of trustees. In 2004, she was named Director of the Year by NACD!
In addition, we are delighted to have Susan Keating, CEO of WomenCorporateDirectors Foundation, join us for our October 7th meeting! Susan and MN Chapter Member Chris Mahai (who was on the Strategic Planning Executive Committee) will discuss the rollout of WCD’s new strategy for the coming year.

6:00-6:45 PM - Susan Keating and Chris Mahai: Overview and discussion on WCD’s new strategy
6:45-8:00 PM - Reatha Clark King: Board room perspectives and lessons learned
