Melissa Stone is a leader of Spencer Stuart’s North American Board and CEO Practices. An expert in corporate governance and CEO succession, she leads teams conducting and supporting board and CEO search and succession efforts. Melissa serves a wide range of clients – from Fortune 100 corporations to high growth private equity-owned companies – across the consumer, financial services, technology, diversified industrial and healthcare sectors. In addition to her client service roles, Melissa is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the Board and CEO Practices that foster innovation and close collaboration with the Firm’s industry practices. Prior to Spencer Stuart, Melissa spent 14 years at McKinsey and Company in professional development and recruiting.
