Dear WCD members,
WCD and KPMG Raad like to invite you to the three spring events planned for RAAD at KPMG. Unfortunately, with the Coronavirus impacting our daily lives currently, it is likely these sessions are postponed. Please do sign up to the events that spike your interest, so we can hold a spot for you.
The connected enterprise:
The role of the non-executive director in successful digital transformations
Digitalization has a central role on the (growth) agenda of many boards. Companies are undertaking different initiatives, varying from new earnings models based on platforms and data to the optimization of customer experience. At the same time we see that digital transformation do not always (directly) lead to a desirable result.
On the basis of global research, KPMG developed Connected Enterprise, as a framework for company-wide digital transformation. This holistic and customer-oriented framework allows directors to shape their digital transformation pragmatically and driven by business values. For non-executive directors, the Connected Enterprise framework can function as a tool to fully understand the digital agenda of their companies and to challenge it on content, priority and speed.
In this session, using case studies from different sectors we will discuss how you can use the framework and what questions you (and the executive directors) should pose to challenge the digitalization of the company.

Karina Kuperus, KPMG’s Head of Digital & Innovation, Guido Soonius and Sander van der Meijs, management consultants in KPMG’s ‘Digital Advisory team’
