Netherlands Chapter Event - RAAD - POSTPONED

Dear WCD members,

WCD and KPMG Raad like to invite you to the three spring events planned for RAAD at KPMG. Unfortunately, with the Coronavirus impacting our daily lives currently, it is likely these sessions are postponed. Please do sign up to the events that spike your interest, so we can hold a spot for you.

Ethical dilemmas in algorithms

The use of algorithms within companies is increasing rapidly. Algorithms provide good opportunities for targeted service offerings, faster selection procedures and more efficient controls systems. However, in addition to opportunities, algorithms also present ethical risks and dilemmas. What are these risks and dilemmas? And how does this impact your responsibilities as a non-executive director?

Speakers:

Muel Kaptein, professor Business Ethics at the Erasmus University (RSM) in Rotterdam, and partner KPMG

Sander Klous,
professor Big Data Ecosystems for Business and Society at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and partner KPMG
