We
are excited to invite you to a discussion on a very relevant topic ESG
(Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance). We have a panel of board
members who are bringing their experience on ESG and how their boards are
approaching all aspects of ESG. The panel will discuss what directors should
consider when discussing ESG and implementing a strategy.
ESG
covers environmental issues like climate change and resource scarcity, social
issues like a company’s labor practices, talent management, product safety, and
data security. It covers governance matters like board diversity, executive
pay, and business ethics. But there is a divide among stakeholders on how to
manage and communicate ESG and what the term even means.
ESG
needs to start in the boardroom. ESG as a journey needs to be aligned to
strategy, risk management, and compensation. ESG focused companies create
long-term value. Bottom line: ESG is not going away.
