We are thrilled that Izumi Kobayashi will be extending her trip to the WCD Global Institute and Visionary Awards in NYC in September to join us for an evening in Denver. Here are some words from WCD Colorado Co-Chair, Deb Kelly, about Izumi that she wants you to know:
Izumi Kobayashi is our speaker for our dinner meeting on September 14th.She has graciously agreed to stop in Denver on her way back to Tokyo from the WCD Global Institute in New York. Izumi and I met through the WCD Visionary Awards Committee where we have served together as co-chairs for the last two years, so I have had the pleasure of getting to know her a bit.She has a very impressive background in terms of professional and board service, was herself given a special WCD Visionary Award for Strategic Leadership in 2016 and served on the board of the Value Reporting Foundation until its consolidation into the IFRS this past July. I am excited to introduce Izumi in person to all of you in September!
