Invitation
– WCD dinner
Please
join us at our next WCD dinner on 9th December, for what promises to
be an inspiring evening on today’s turbulent political era.
Rachel Hopcroft
will be leading the discussions for the evening, bringing with her a wealth of
government experience and political insight. Rachel is KPMG’s Head of Corporate
Affairs and prior to this she was Principal Private Secretary to the Cabinet Secretary,
Sir Jeremy Heywood, from 2012-2016 and has over a decade of experience in the
Civil Service, in critical policy and delivery roles.
Working alongside
ministers, the Civil Service is at the heart of whether or not the next
government is set on the path to success or failure. Rachel will share with us
her insights on the pressure put on civil servants during change in government
and the way it works behind the scenes.
The event will be hosted by KPMG at Number Twenty Grosvenor Street, London W1K
4QJ on 9th December. Drinks will be served from 6.30pm and dinner will be
served at 7.00pm. Please feel free to invite any prospective WCD members who
would like to join us for the evening. Please note the meeting will be held
under the Chatham House Rule.
Please RSVP along with any special dietary requirements and additional names if
applicable, to Samantha Heath or
+44(0)20 7694 3601.
Can we also remind you that some of you are yet to renew
your subscription. Please let the WCD membership team know if you need
information on how to renew or if you have any questions regarding your
membership.
We do hope you can attend the dinner and look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Noel Harwerth & Melanie Richards
