2019 Global Institute


WomenCorporateDirectors (WCD) invites you to join directors and corporate leaders from around the world for the Global Institute, to be held May 19-22, 2019. The first time in a West Coast venue, the Institute will be on site at the headquarters of Hewlett Packard Enterprise in the heart of Silicon Valley, California. 

This year, attendees can expect an entirely new experience from the Institute: Deeper conversations with executives shaking up their industries and greater focus on innovation and technology tapping the Silicon Valley locale. 
There is truly something for everyone, whether you are a public company director, a private or family company director, or an aspiring director.

Due to the unique Institute venue on the campus of HPE and the intimate group size for the Silicon Valley Live experiences, we encourage you to register today, as space is limited. 

Schedule:
On May 19th a Pre-Institute networking dinner at the Tech Museum of Innovation will set the stage for the exciting three days ahead. The next morning, on May 20th, your Institute program journey begins with four optional Pre-Institute sessions providing in-depth discussions on topics including the latest advances in consumer technology, private and family company governance, executive and board compensation trends, and preparing for one’s first public company board, followed by lunch and the first day of Global Institute programming.

The evening of May 20th, at the Visionary Awards dinner, WCD will recognize companies and individuals who are setting an example globally for their commitment to diversity.

Programming on May 21st features multiple panels and conversations with leading executives.

Finally, as an exclusive opportunity for Institute attendees, join us on May 22nd for Silicon Valley Live! For the first time ever, WCD is offering unique experiences that allow attendees to meet the companies developing technology and applications that are changing our lives.
