Meredith Kaufman

(Moderator)

Meredith Kaufman is a partner in Baker McKenzie's Employment & Compensation Practice Group in New York. Meredith’s practice focuses on employment law disputes in US federal and state courts, before administrative agencies, and in arbitrations and mediations.

Mei-Mei Tuan

Mei-Mei has been a director of both The Bancorp, Inc. and its U.S. subsidiary since 2013 and is also a board member of the Clara Maass Medical Center and its Foundation, and Montclair Kimberley Academy. Ms. Tuan is currently a Managing Director of Trewstar LLC, which provides corporate board services and is the co-founder and Chairman of Notch Partners LLC, a leading human capital partner to private equity funds. She was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs, BankAmerica and BankAustria and has served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at the Sierra Foundation and the San Francisco Food Bank.

Laurel McCarthy

Laurel McCarthy is a Senior Associate at Spencer Stuart, specializing in Board Director assignments. In her work with Spencer Stuart’s North American Board Practice, Laurel consults with CEOs, Chairs of Boards, Chairs of Nominating/Governance Committees and other board leaders to understand boardroom needs, identify potential director candidates and assess the Board’s culture. Laurel’s work spans all types of companies, from pre-IPO to Fortune 100, and includes private and public companies and executives from around the globe. She has helped place hundreds of women and other diverse candidates on corporate Boards.

Ric Comins

Ric Comins launched Succession Partners in late 2016 to offer an innovative new business model designed to assist clients strategically and proactively manage their organization and succession plans. A deeply-experienced retailer, C-level Human Resources executive, and skilled retained executive search practice leader, his mission is to help companies navigate the sea change of disruption and transform their Boards and Executive Leadership teams to ensure future success.
